Wanda has a tremendous amount of experience in human resource law and it truly showed with her professional and calm, rational approach to addressing both employer and employee relationships. The result was amicable and expedient for all parties, with minimal emotional impact that these situations can often invoke. Wanda’s involvement allowed me to continue to devote time and energy to my growing business knowing that she was handling these important matters on my behalf.

    Contact Us

I acknowledge that I work and reside in the territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples. The territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement.

I stand in solidarity with Indigenous people calling for truth, reconciliation, the end of oppression and the restoration of rights. As a descendant of Africans trafficked to Turtle Island and enslaved, I honour and respect my Indigenous neighbours, and will be an ally in creating partnerships that help move us towards reconciliation.

How can you be an ally to Indigenous People?

The term ally means recognizing the privilege that settler cultures have and take for granted. It also implies that you will challenge and work towards breaking down those barriers that continue to violate and oppress Indigenous communities. Being an ally requires social action, strength, courage, humility and a support network.
